In this project, I tried a small vineyard in a stylized look. The research was quiet fun to me, since I grew up in a winemaking region. I hope you enjoy this scene.
For my bachelor thesis I created a prototype within 6 weeks, with a programmer to help me out. Excluding the palm trees, rocks and bushes, I did all the environment assets and characters. To create the scene, I used the unity terrain tool. I also did the particles.
My thesis was about the entertaining factors of three-dimensional open-world games in relation to gameplay elemants, story and environment. That means that I organised some people to playtest the prototype and answer some questions about their feelings of joy during the game.
This is my first prototype I did at university. On this porject, I worked as team leader and 3D environment artist. Most of the textures where done by a fellow student. During this project I really learned a lot about connecting different departments.
This is a GameJam project, i worked on in September 2020.The GameJam lasted one week. I did all the 3D Assets and I did all textures excluding floor and walls. For the human bodies I used mixamo animations, the animals where animated by myself.
